 THE COMBINATIONS

 

BROWN AND NAVY

Our first combination is our Royal Blue Wool-Cashmere Tie and paired with 'The Battle of Vercellae' Pocket Square. We feel that brown and navy is a combination that is often underused, they always work well together as they're complimentary colour pallets. This is quite a muted combination but we do love the hint of texture that you get with the wool cashmere tie.

 

 

 

NAVY TIE AND LIGHT TONED POCKET SQUARE

Our second combination is our Navy & White Striped Shantung Silk Tie paired with the 'The Colours, Advance of the Scots Guards at the Alma' Pocket Square. Again, utilising navy but this time using the heavy texture of the shantung tie makes this a more casual look while the light colours of the pocket square reflect the stripe in the tie completing the combination.

 

 

 

BURGUNDY AND SKY BLUE

We recommend starting this pairing with a sky-blue shirt, which would offset the brown jacket. Layer the tones of burgundy with the tie and deeper shades of blue in the pocket square for extra dimension. With the tie picking up the shirt colour we’ve also reflected this in the pocket square for a really harmonised combination.

 

SHADES OF BROWN

In our video, we’ve gone for Brown Gun Club Check Merino Wool tie from Fox Brothers and paired it with 'Goldfinch' by William Lewin Pocket Square, but brown based tie and gold-toned square will work wonderfully. The pocket square we’ve gone for has a strong contrast with the jacket while the creamy hues pairs with the cream overcheck in the tie, this provides a beautifully subtle pairing.

Our final combination is our Chestnut Brown Wool-Cashmere Tie with 'The Cutty Sark' Pocket Square. A plain brown combination could lack a little imagination so we’ve used this opportunity to add another element with the bold stripe shirt. Again, the beautiful texture of the wool-cashmere tie adds some interest on closer inspection while the navy and browns in the pocket square completes the look.
